Billing
Fees
One fee. Flat rate. No surprises.
Platform fee
Hexio charges 0.5% on every filled order. Market, Limit, or Auto — doesn't matter.
Fee = Shares × Fill Price × 0.005
Buy 200 shares at $0.60. Fee = 200 × 0.60 × 0.005 = $0.60.
Polymarket taker fee
Polymarket charges their own fee on taker orders (orders that cross the spread and fill immediately). This is separate from the Hexio fee and is set by Polymarket, not us.
| Order type | Hexio fee | Polymarket taker fee |
|---|---|---|
| Market | 0.5% | Yes — taker |
| Limit | 0.5% | Depends — taker if crosses spread, maker if rests |
| Auto | 0.5% | Skipped — always posts as maker |
Auto orders always rest on the book at the best bid or ask, so they never pay the Polymarket taker fee. That's one of the main reasons to use them.

Gas
All transactions happen on Polygon. Gas costs exist but are negligible — usually fractions of a cent. Much less than what you'd pay on Ethereum mainnet.
